October 2023: Sally Cade joined sound designer and composer, Lindsay Jones, at the Signal Awards representing Next Chapter Podcasts and the Play On Podcasts. October 2023: Sally Cade partners with Rachel Sussman and New York Theatre Workshop on Hansol Jung’s new play MERRY ME directed by Leigh Silverman.
June 2023: Sally Cade joins the board of directors of Space on Ryder Farm, an organization she has long admired. SPACE on Ryder Farm is a nonprofit residency program and organic farm located on a family homestead founded in 1795 in Putnam County, New York, about an hour and a half north of New York City. SPACE’s mission is to create an environment singular in its ability to invigorate artists and innovators and their work, and to contribute to the sustainability and resourceful preservation of one of the oldest organic family farms on the East Coast.
June 11, 2023: The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Miriam Silverman WINS the 2023 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play.
May 25, 2023: Sally Cade joins playwright Hansol Jung and Play On Shakespeare Producing Director Taylor Bailey for a talkback after the NAATCO & Two River Theatre production of Hansol’s translation of ROMEO & JULIET. The talk back was moderated by NAATCO Line Producer, Payton Jai.
May 2, 2023: The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window is nominated for the 2023 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play. Company member, Miriam Silverman, was also nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play. This is the fourth Tony Award Nomination for Sally Cade and Holmes Productions.
April 2023: Lorraine Hansberry’s The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window makes an unprecedented transfer to Broadway. The production stars Rachel Brosnahan and Oscar Isaac. Sally Cade is proud to join the producing team.
March 8, 2023: COWBOY BOB World Premiere opens at Alley Theatre in Houston, TX.

February 22, 2023: TEXAS MONTHLY | The Cross-dressing, Bank-Robbing, Outlaw Tale of Cowboy Bob Is Now a Musical | An all-female creative team set Peggy Jo Tallas’s story to a score of country, folk, and riot grrrl punk.
January 17, 2023: Theatre Communications Group (TCG) has announced that COWBOY BOB is a recipient of a 2022-23 Edgerton Foundation New Play Awards.
October 2022: Along with her partners at Red Tail Entertainment, Sally Cade produces an orchestration workshop in anticipation of the COWBOY BOB world premiere in March 2023.
July 11-24, 2022: The American Musical Theatre Project at Northwestern University produces a workshop of COWBOY BOB in preparation for the 2023 world premier of the show.
Spring/Summer 2022: Sally Cade is featured in the Spring / Summer 2022 Journal of Southern Theatre.
March 2022: Sally Cade is the Keynote Speaker at the Southeastern Theatre Conference in Memphis, TN.
February 2022: Sally Cade spearheads the Advanced Seminar in Creative Leadership at Furman University in Greenville, SC. The Seminar is a collaboration between Art & Theatre Arts Departments and the Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
